The Praesto Quartet, based in Christchurch, New Zealand, has been performing since 1997. Our quartet, comprised of the traditional two violins, viola and violoncello, will add a touch of elegance to your wedding or function. In addition to our quartet, we have trios, duos and soloists available, to cater for events of all sizes and budgets.

We have enjoyed playing at over five hundred weddings, corporate functions, garden parties and birthdays. With a large repertoire of wedding music, classical, modern and jazz, we have music to suit all occasions.
